Our programs cover the basics of theology, Biblical studies, and a general education curriculum. These programs are designed to prepare individuals who aspire to serve in ministry, whether in the church or the marketplace.

  • The Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies provides a strong foundation in Bible and theology for marketplace ministers and for students desiring to go on to complete any of the five Bachelor of Arts degree programs offered at Pacific Rim Christian University. The Biblical Studies curriculum aims to equip the student to value the careful study of the Bible and theology for life and ministry.

    The AA in Biblical Studies is available in an accelerated format and can be completed in 18-24 months.

    Upon completion of the Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies program, students will demonstrate:

    • The ability to integrate biblical and theological thought into their life, ministry, or marketplace context.

  • The Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry provides a well-rounded basic ministry foundation for students desiring to launch into ministry after two years of training. The Christian Ministry curriculum aims to help the student love God and people and develop the heart and mindset of a vocational minister.

    The AA in Christian Ministry is available in an accelerated format and can be completed in 18-24 months.

    Upon successful completion of the Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry, students will demonstrate:

    • A heart for and commitment to Christian service.

    • Essential and effective ministry skills based on the application of biblical principles.

  • The Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry Leadership provides a well-rounded basic ministry foundation for students desiring to launch into ministry after two years of academic training. The Christian Ministry Leadership curriculum aims to help the student love God and people and develop the heart and mindset of a vocational minister. This program is designed to give flexibility of schedule to the student by being entirely online.

    The AA in Christian Ministry Leadership is available in an accelerated format and can be completed in 18-24 months.

    Upon  successful completion of the Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry Leadership, students will demonstrate:

Our Bachelor's program caters to individuals who aspire to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their faith in the ministry, ranging from a Bachelor’s of Arts in Bible & Christian Counseling to a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theology.

  • The Bible and Christian Counseling curriculum is designed to equip students who intend to pursue a master’s degree in counseling to become licensed counselors or for those who desire to be better prepared for non-professional lay counseling in or outside the church. The Christian Counseling curriculum aims to help students love God and people and develop the heart and mindset of a caring and compassionate counselor.

    Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Christian Counseling (non-licensure), students will demonstrate:

    • The nurturing aspects of counseling include mentoring, guidance, and crisis ministry.

    • An ability to share God’s Word through the work of the Spirit in a meaningful and beneficial way to counselees.

  • The Christian Ministry curriculum is designed to equip students to prepare for any type of ministry and as a way of living. The goal of the Christian Ministry curriculum is to encourage students to love God and people and to develop the heart and mindset of a minister.

    Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Christian Ministry, students will demonstrate:

    This B.A. in Christian Ministry program is available in an accelerated format and can be completed in three years.

  • The Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Creative Arts provides a robust and well-rounded foundation for students desiring to become creative directors, worship pastors, or leaders in arts ministries in dance, drama, video, or other areas. The degree allows the student to select an area of emphasis in music, dance, media, or video production. The Creative Arts curriculum aims to fuel a student’s life as a worshiper so that he or she will honor Christ as the source and focus of creative endeavors.

    Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Creative Arts, students will demonstrate:

    • The articulation of a personal theology and philosophy of Christian worship.

    • The ability to lead in one of the following areas: drama, dance, multimedia, or music.

  • The pastoral ministry curriculum is designed to train students preparing for pastoral ministry or those who want to pursue a graduate degree. The Pastoral Ministry curriculum aims to help students love God and people and develop the heart and mindset of a pastor and shepherd. This degree offers two tracks to choose from as your focus: Pastoral Ministry or Biblical Language.

    Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Pastoral Ministry, students will demonstrate:

    • The nurturing aspects of leadership include mentoring, counseling, visitation, and crisis ministry.

    • An ability to accurately, clearly, and relevantly communicate God's Word.

    • The ability to equip others to do church as a team.

  • This degree program is for those who would like to focus primarily on biblical studies and developing a biblical foundation. Combining Bible, theology, general ministry, and leadership courses allows students to integrate biblical and theological thought into their lives and work. Additionally, this program is designed for those interested in pursuing a graduate degree.

    Upon completing the Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies degree, students can:

    • Integrate biblical and theological thought into their life, ministry, or marketplace context.

  • Prospective students who have met the requirements for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or who have achieved the equivalent of a sixty-credit Associate’s degree, as determined by PacRim’s Academics department, are eligible to apply for enrollment in the two-year Bachelor of Theology program.  To avoid the need for makeup courses, students seeking transfer credits must have successfully completed at least one course in the following areas: communications, humanities, physical sciences (including math or science), and social sciences.  The goal of the Bible and theology curriculum equips the student to value the careful study of the Bible and theology for life and ministry. 

    Upon completing the Bachelor of Theology degree, students will demonstrate:

    • The ability to integrate biblical and theological thought into their life, ministry, or marketplace context.
