Title IX: Including SaVE, VAWA, and Clery Act
Pacific Rim Christian University is committed to providing a safe learning and working environment. In compliance with federal law, specifically the Jeanne Clery Act (Clery Act), VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (SaVE Act), PacRim has adopted policies and procedures to prevent and respond to incidents of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. These guidelines apply to all members of the PacRim community (students, faculty, and staff) and visitors.
Pacific Rim Christian University will not tolerate sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, as defined in this Policy, in any form. Such acts of violence are prohibited by PacRim policy and state and federal laws. Individuals whom the University determines are more likely than not engaged in these behaviors are subject to penalties up to and including dismissal or separation from PacRim, regardless of whether they are also facing criminal or civil charges in a court of law.
Please refer to the Student Handbook for complete details.
