Cell Phone Usage
At the library, we strive to create an environment that supports concentration and productivity. While using cell phones or other electronic devices, please be mindful of others and use common sense. Please make sure that all cell phones are kept silent. If you need to take a call, please feel free to step outside the library. Students who fail to comply with this rule may be asked to end the conversation or leave the library. I appreciate your cooperation.
Food & Beverages
You can bring beverages in containers with lids or water bottles to any library area. However, we'd like to ask you to handle them with extra care, especially near library computers, to ensure they do not spill or damage. So that you know, food is not allowed in the library.
Noise
The library requests that students exercise common sense while conversing and working on the premises. If a person causes a disturbance, the library staff will warn the student. The person will be asked to vacate the library if the disorder persists.
Lost & Found
The Circulation Desk is the first place to check if you have lost any personal belongings. Items found and turned in will be kept there for two weeks. The Library will immediately notify the owner if valuable items such as IDs, wallets, or phones are found. These items will be safely stored in the Librarian's office until the owner claims them.
We want to remind you not to leave any personal belongings unattended in the library, especially purses, wallets, backpacks, laptops, or electronic devices. Please note that the library cannot be held responsible for theft, damage, or property loss.
