Testify: God’s Transformative Work at Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim Christian University sets aside time in the Chapel for students to share their testimonies each semester. This past week was compelling as our first-year students stepped up to share how God has been working in their lives since starting their journey here at PacRimU in 2025.

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as students prepared to share their stories. The service began with a reading from John 15:1-5, reminding everyone of the importance of abiding in Christ to bear fruit. As Revelations 19:10 says, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Testimonies are powerful, able to break through anxiety and give hope. Revelations remind us that we defeat Satan by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Student Testimonies

Kyle Mazzarino shared how he encountered Christ in high school despite not growing up in a Christian household. Even though he was stuck in sin, specifically sexual sin, God changed him. After being hospitalized and promising God he would follow him, he eventually quit taking his medication. Later in life, while dealing with many things, God came to him and asked if all those things would fill him, and he realized that God was the only thing that could.

Ben Smith reflected on God's protection throughout his life, especially during his youth group years when he was still partying and drinking.

These are just a few examples of God's incredible work in our students' lives. We invite you to watch the full Chapel service to hear all the testimonies and be encouraged by God's grace and transformation.
