Calling Out All The Marthas: A Timely Message on Rest in Jesus
Pacific Rim Christian University recently experienced a decisive moment of spiritual reflection during a chapel service led by sophomore student Haggai Lekka. His sermon, "Calling Out All The Marthas," was based on the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42. Drawing from Jesus’ words, “Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her,” Haggai reminded students that while serving is valuable, resting in Christ’s presence is essential for spiritual renewal and peace.
