The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) presents an excellent opportunity to earn money for your education while working at a federally funded job on or off campus. This program can help cover personal, school-related, and miscellaneous expenses and allow you to gain valuable work experience in a positive and supportive environment. It is important to note that FWS positions are available to all eligible students. Take advantage of this chance to invest in your future and gain valuable skills.
Work-study jobs on campus are not guaranteed
If you have received work-study in your aid package, you must apply for the job and be hired to receive your work-study wage.
Wages are based on your work type and the skills required.
There are FWS jobs off campus.
You cannot earn more than the amount awarded to you in your financial aid package.
Work-study funds are paid out to you through paychecks for work you have performed.
